Registeration Race

I’ve blogged about my preferred carnival costume [Mystery of Loulan] before, but in case you missed it, here it is

For various reasons, my friends and I shall not be playing mas in what you see above. We won't even be playing in that band. We have decided to go with Spice - an up-and-coming band with great costumes, good service and none of the Tribe drama (ccording to experienced masqueraders.

So, I guess I should be happy that I don't have to deal with crazy queues to register and higher prices. But, I'm not. I wanted the TRIBE experience. Oh well, majority rules and all that.

So, it is a showdown between Thailand (left) and Egypt: Wing of Isis (right):



No matter how hard I try, I can't get with the "floor length" pieces of material in between the legs. **sigh**. There was none of that with TRIBE. To make up for not playing with TRIBE, I've been given veto. Both costumes are beautiful and I would be happy with either one. Let me know which one you prefer.
