Working to Capture a Dream

For all the talking I do on this blog about my finances, hopes, dreams and other random stuff, I have never painted a picture of my financial and professional dream for ya. For that, I apologise.

I'll summarize what I am aiming for now so you can understand why this is so important to me. This is a picture of where I would like to be at age fifty.

Finances and Assets:
£100 000 in savings
£350 000 in stocks and shares
Net Worth of £850 000
3 properties: Main residence in a great part of the city, a beach house and a mountain retreat.

A minimum of two investment properties – also in great parts of the city

Professional and Other:
Leading authority in Media Law, Energy Law, Labour Law or Human Rights
The freedom to retire at 55 if I wanted to
A thriving business to generate income

For now, that's the dream. I'm sure I will add to it as the years go by.
